Man, that's awesome. Wish we had them in NY haha. Pardon my ignorance here, but are wolves a big problem? I thought they were fairly rare. They seem pretty amazing to me.

They brought the things in here to kill all the game so that there is no need for hunting. That way they can take our guns since we no longer need to hunt in order to control game populations.

Yes they have been pretty tough on game populations across the west. Only a small fraction of the elk that once were in Yellowstone.

My post was a bit tongue in cheek. But there is an element of truth in every good joke.

They're going through our moose like popcorn. Game Department is issuing more tags, I think their theory is to blame overhunting when their gone.

In hindsight the states principally affected (MT, & WY) should have had a general migration season in the Gardner, and Jackson to bring elk populations to the levels they are now for a couple of years before transplant. Maybe they would have all gone back to Canada.
