Got tired of reading all the opinions of "the best" copper cleaner, so I decided to see for myself…this way I have something to compare each to. I almost always use Sweets and/or Hoppes BR , but open to knew possibilities.I appreciate you doing this experiment. It should keep you occupied for the winter.
I can relate to that. I've used all that you are testing; they are good stuff. I also use the foaming version, and they work as well. I like using them on a vertical barrel, they slowly flow as a self-timer.Got tired of reading all the opinions of "the best" copper cleaner, so I decided to see for myself…this way I have something to compare each to. Just a thought for your consideration. I am not sure if it is worth your time/effort to weigh every day until day X.Picture after one day…BoreTech changed colors
I thought about that, but the time it requires to take them out, clean, dry, and weigh wouldn't be consistent for each one.Just a thought for your consideration. I am not sure if it is worth your time/effort to weigh every day until day X.
