Volume. I did too. My worse groups were at the highest charges. This load is money. I can still keep just over MOA at 100 with a much higher load. Just prefer the best accuracy

Mine with 225 ELR bullets and 132 grains of BH gets me .6 groups at 100. At 500 that opens up (MOA wise) to 4". Still impressive.

Yes. I have a 500 yard range. I've burned a pound of powder thru it already. Gladwin county, Mi.

I'm further north in Alpena County at Hubbard Lake. I'm a member of the Alpena Sportsman's Club which has a 600yd range.

I got a response from CVA that I was semi pleased with. They acknowledged that it's definitely an issue, and are working on a complete different fix, but told me to buy the arrowhead muzzle brake. It's supposed to show up today. I will go to range tomorrow to see what happens. Fingers crossed

I pulled the brake and use the thread protector. Shooting 225s and 120 grains isn't bad at all. No need for a brake

I'm running a vortex 3-15x44 FFP. I keep it at 12x but since it's FFP should matter, should it?

I'm using a higher power model from Sightron. 4-20x50. FFPs won't matter what the mag range is set at. If it's an MOA or a Mil reticle, the power setting won't change POA/POI. SFP needs to be set at the highest power for the reticle to be used accurately.
