Packable down jacket

I've had several of them. They do work great, but the zippers suck IMO.
One of mine is a bivy pullover, sweatshirt type with a kangaroo type pouch in the front, works great on its own or for layering. Seriously though, when they took their anti second amendment stance, I had a friend take all the tags off. Too pricey to ditch.

For many years I wore, and still do occasionally, a Sitka Jetstream jacket (26 oz). Recently however, I more often reach for the Stone Glacier Grumman Goose Down jacket (size L; 11.8oz). The SG is surprisingly warm and incredibly light weight. Check it out.

What's funny, they're a DOD contractor.
"Technically" they actually lost the contract. I say technically because they always just change the company name. Back when i first started, it was ORC industries, then patagucci which replaced orc for PCU kit which I pictured.

But then Patagonia changed their vb.socom.mil stuff to MARS, then they became lost arrow, and now they are called forgedline solutions. Which isn't definitely not a commercial market. I guess, they split from Patagonia so a few years ago.

That said, they aren't the only ones filling contracts.
Most of us have had unit funds just contract with Beyond and have been perfectly happy.
