Fun hunting story (I hope this is allowed).

My hunting partner and I are constantly pulling practical jokes on each other. Way too many to write about here, but they are what makes these trips so memorable.

Keith is a young man I meet when he was 9 yo in the scouts, now in his mid-40s. He earned his Eagle Scout when he was 16, pretty proud of him. He ultimately became my main hunting partner.

In November 2010, we made a trip to NW Oklahoma to hunt deer with another good friend. Had a great trip, between the two of us, we got six deer (a buck and 2 does each) and three wild hogs. We had them stacked up like a cord of wood in the back of my truck.

On the way home, as we entered CA, we were briefly stopped at the inspection station. I was worried they were not going to let us bring the deer whole. All I could see is us on the side of the road at 3 am trying cutting them up. Keith was driving, when the agent asked if we had any fruits, vegetables, or animals, he said "NOPE".

About a mile down the road I told him a good Eagle Scout doesn't lie. His response was "we don't have animals, we have carcasses!" We had a good laugh.

When we got home, the deer and hogs were put in the walk-in cooler at our gun club to be butchered the next day.

We spent the entire day processing them, what a job, cutting and vacuum packing 6 deer and 3 hogs.

When I got home, as I was unloading my cooler into the freezer I found a package with hair in it? When I picked it up, there was a set of family jewels neatly vacuum packed, OMG!

OK buddy, going to fix you. A mutual friend's son does amateur taxidermy, so I asked if he would mount it for me. He was over joyed to be part of this knowing what I was going to do with it.

Ryan mounted it on a wooden plaque with an erection!

At our next club meeting, it was presented to Keith in front of about 100 members. The guys roared. It now hangs on the wall under rack of the deer he shot on that trip.
