Ohio Train Wreck

...no matter where you go along the river your never far from some type of chemical plant and God forbid liquid propane.....I scratch my head every time I travel from Wheeling to Youngstown....a heck of a lot of goods moving on water, rail and highway, constantly.
Volleyball trips over the last year have really opened my eyes to the amount of industry in the Ohio Valley.

I live about 20 minutes away in western Pa.
To be honest things are still not good and will not be for a long time. We have actually been drinking natural spring water from about 8 miles away because we really don't trust our city water from the river.
Our prevalent wind is from the west and we're east and slightly north from the site.
In the vicinity they have been checking chemical levels in drinking water and supposedly it's within the safe range but I watched a video of a guy offering a glass of water to a person who just tested his family's water and for some reason he refused to drink it!
The worst parts of the situation is the community is being kept in the dark about long term health risks and the total lack of help from our federal government.
Supposedly a axle and or hung up brake is the cause. There's a video of sparks flying from the railcar 45 minutes before the derailment.
That's about all the info I have at this timeThey must be stupid! To go on with sparks flying from a railcar for 45 minutes. I am around lots of eqio,

it's to bad and could have been prevented. I know that the trains have schedules, but there has to be a better way. If they having 1000 train wreck a year. That hard to understand. The government needs to start taking away money from them for each train wreck. That might get their attention.

They want to move more freight with less employees. Twice the amount of railcars connected with half the employees on the train.

Here are some links from this podcast station. This website interviews many prominent doctors and scientist that the mainstream media will not tell you about, I have listened to this gentleman, Mike Adams, since about midway through the COVID PANDEMIC. Always some good information for anyone willing to listen.

This is what the rail road workers were getting ready to go on strike about. The white house stepped in and put the screws to that.
I remember a thread about that. It sure sounded like the RR employees were really making out until a member who works for the RR chimed in. On the rails constantly away from family and the company turning down any days off. Yes the WH stepped in and they still don't get any days off but get paid more.

This is what we watched. Everyone should watch this and see what is really going on.
Thanks for posting all the links @smokey3

I know its almost old news by now, but just wondered if anyone on here lives in the area?
How are things going, from a local perspective?
Have they detirmined a cause?
It was a hot bearing that was detected by sensors and signaled Engineer when it got to 250deg, they started to stop the train but before stopped the wheel broke and derailed. I would say it was a 150 car train. Two engines pulling and another helper 1/2 way back .
They are starting to clean up but I guess a lot of contamination is in soil. A water bottler 15 miles away was pulled from the shelf of a local grocery chain.
