Interesting fact: N135, N133 and N130 all have exactly the same grain dimensions, but due to the different surface coating the burning behavior of the powders varies.
In regard to the Extreme powder line, it is a chemical additive in the 'recipe' when the batch is made. It is not a coating, or an additive after the batch is made.what makes powders this way and why don't they make all of them like this? is it an additive that makes them less sensitive to non or is it just.....................?

Not true.
By now, i thought every one knows Hodgdon does NOT make powder.Hodgdon re-labels Australian made powders called the "Extreme" range.
The label even says "Made in Australia" on the bottom strip of the label
