New tripod mount from Spartan

I love the idea...is it available on the market? What exactly is the product? Just the part that attaches to the rifle?

$400?, WOW!

I see it as a waste of time, money & something else to carry. If you have to have that device, you should practice more on your tripod.
Somewhat agree, but I can definitely see it making the rifle more stable. And I think 399 is that bad considering what some bipods/tripods cost

I believe they sell the bracket that mounts on a tripod and then the piece that mounts to the arc rail or Picatinny rail they were actually at my shooting school this morning. I gave them some ideas about making it fold when the tripod folds and they told me they're already working on that so pretty interesting.

Exactly. When you spend $1000+ on a good tripod and head, another $400 isn't that bad.

And if you can keep the rifle steady enough to make a 1000 yard shot without a rear support, then you are better than most (or don't have a heartbeat).

That was my main question that I could not answer looking at the videos.

If it could fold with the tripod and be ready for use at any time, it would allow use of a pan head for glassing but a stable platform to shoot with rear support..but I probably would not want to carry and attach/remove it in a hunting scenario. Must be geared more towards competition in the current design
