This may be a stupid question but it's an issue with me.
Obviously at this time of year it's not going to be nearly as important because of the cool weather. I mostly hunt this time of year with few range trips but in the spring, summer and fall my shooting is primarily range oriented and I've noticed that when I use a suppressor on my centerfires that not only does the suppressor heat up very rapidly with just a few shots, but the barrel does too.
Is there any such thing as a suppressor that doesn't cause all that super rapid heat build up and yet still suppresses sound well?
The rifles it will primarily be used with are 223, 308, 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 PRC.
