Another straight pull option is the Heym SR 30 which it appears are available in the USA.

My cousin has one in Win 308 and it is a very nice slim rifle.

The 3.300.00. Euro price may be a drawback. That's about $3700.00 in American green backs. I can buy a really good custom gun for that. Unless its 330.00 euros.

The complete rifle the USA side has listed is $3,599.99 but the stock is difference from the stocks that the Austrian Strasser website shows. I called the USA side to see if they can also order the complete rifles that are listed on the Strasser Austria website and they confirmed that they could. The rifle you are referencing that is 3.330.. Euros is offered for $3,225.99 MSRP thru the USA side.

Anyone heard anything about this Strasser straight pull? Thoughts? Ive been seriously considering it. Looks like they got a "builders" action that is straight-pull with Remington 700 footprint and compatibility. Could make for a cool custom gun

Yeah, I purchased one at the end of the spring and have been thrilled with it. The action is the smoothest I have ever used. This is my 6.5PRC rifle that has the Strasser RS700 straight pull action. (see image)

That rose wood model is offered thru the strasser usa for $3,225 MSRP. That cheaper than the strasser austria website has it listed for. I own one of the Strasser Alpine Hunter rifles that is listed on the USA's website. I could not be happier with the rifle.

@huntergirl - What questions can I answer for you? Our Strasser RS700 straight pull action is the only Remington 700 footprint straight pull ever made. Any Remington 700 footprint stock, chassis, or trigger system will work with the RS700 action. Our locking lug system feature four independent locking lugs that work as a collective group. Each of the four locking lugs has been 3rd party tested (German Proof House) to the maximum pressures the proof house was capable of, 84K PSI. The proof houses do not have the capability of testing beyond 84k PSI. The combine pressure that the collective locking lugs can withstand 336k psi... thats a lot. We are not aware of a safer straight pull system on the market.
