Keep the 340 wby! Why change to something that doesn't improve your situation. I just shot with LTLR and he has 25-30 big 338's of all kinds.
I wrote down the numbers. 340 wby with 250 grain bullet=3050 fps. 338 ultra with 250=3050 fps and the 338-300 ultra with 250=3100fps. 338-378 with 250=3350fps. All with 28" 1-10 Hart barrels. I wrote it all down and a bunch more. If you want to know about big 338's talk to LTLR on here if you can get him.
