New Rifle Project

Love the true-oil. In another time. Save your sanding and mix up with True-Oil to fill the voids. It's faster to fill in the voids. It's been a long time for me to do a stock.

Looks awesome. Did you just glue ebony or did you pin and glue?

Thanks! I used two dowels in the forend tip, and just used glue for the pistol grip cap.

That looks great, excellent job, I probably have way to many guns, but still not as many as I want, I'd give up my stainless synthetic all weather rifles before I'll give up fine walnut and blued steel, thats a rifle to be proud of. Hope you and that rifle have lots of memories in you're future.
 
very beautifull, my wife just walked by and saw your rifle and said oh very pretty stock. I have forgotten how much work it is and am going to attack a piece of maple I cut down 10 or so years ago
