New chambering for 28 Nosler

Per the update above, I don't believe the barrel is worn. I knew the 28 nos was overbore, but that seemed awfully quick. I'll be loading and shooting soon to verify but it looks ok to me.

FYI

when needed, I'd be between the 300 PRC and the 30-28 nosler. Both seem to be great fits for the rifle.

Did you call him back and ask him about the carbon ring? I would probably start asking some questions about what he actually did, especially when he was going through the motions of having a whole new rifle built with all new parts.

I haven't decided on whether to confront him or not. I'm fairly confident they did nothing as nothing they told me was accurate.

Coincidentally, a buddy of mine dropped a rifle off there for something or other… they told him his barrel was shot. May be true, but I'd like to see it to verify. This might be their MO.
