New Berger 25cal 135gn LRHT

Got a load developed for my 2506 and the 135 bergers. Im running them at 3075fps with great accuracy. I have yet to find the top end of h4831sc but im guessing pressure will come on around 3175-3200fps. I shot the 117gr Cayuga at 3400fps with amazing accuracy with rl26. Im guessing around 3200-3275fps for the 135gr bergers.

I've shot about 100 of them from a 25 CM and ended up with a mild 2800 fps load using N565. That is a full but non-compressed load. Can get quite a bit more velocity but this is a PRS load where recoil and brass life is a priority. I was pleased that I was able to achieve great accuracy at a lower velocity vs the 131 BJ. I had to push the 131 closer to 3000 fps with RL26 for best accuracy. Berger's BC data had it spot-on at 1200 yards after sighting-in at 200 and gathering velocity data. Looks like another hybrid winner

I'll for sure get to atleast shoot 1 animal with the 2506 and the 135 berger lol still have an elk and a deer tag coming.

In my 26" carbon barrel 25 creed, the 135 showed pressure signs about 40fps sooner than the 131s with RL26. The Berger has a fair bit more bearing surface. 45.0-45.3 grain has a very nice node going 2900 fps. There's another node @ 2965 but it's pretty warm, getting very light ejector marks there.

With the numbers of the 131BJ, 2900 is outstanding in a 25 CM

Shooting them in my 25SST @ a very mild 3127fps right now. Pronghorn season starts in 9 days....
Are you opening up the tips? Sorry if I missed you already mention that. I have some #59 wire bits and I just drilled a couple out..never tried it before and wondering what your process is like. Some of mine end up straight, some are off center and exaggerate the already inconsistent tip.

I do. #60 wire bit. I have some #72 bits ordered.
