Hornady just released a bullet out,.50 cal 300gr FTX bullet.It is a polymer tipped bullet that I think will be great with my S&W 500.I got some load data today from hornady,and 2000 fps were achieved with both H110 and Lil Gun.I think this will really broaden the range for the big 500,I just ordered a box from midway,so hopefully everything will go well with this bullet.
Hornady was already making loaded rounds with this bullet,but they were really expensive.Now they can be handloaded(about $.55 per bullet).
