My 17 year old daughter drew a great AZ tag this year. A 10 day hunt turned into a 90 minute hunt on opening day in the blink of an eye. 1 minute after glassing up this buck, he was down. 454 yards, quartering away, one shot, like flipping off a switch.
She now has biggest buck in the family.
31" inside spread, 33.25" outside spread, 196 6/8" green gross.

Thanks to all. It is still unreal. We got the skull cap back from the taxidermist yesterday and I started to really compare it to all the other deer on the wall. Every one except my personal biggest fit INSIDE this deer's frame. This next 12 month wait is going to be a long one before I can get him with the "bachelor herd" up on the wall.
We also made some green chili with some stew meat off him yesterday....yum!
