Yep, got a Creedmoor round on the shelf above my bench just like it.
Congratulations on your new wildcat!Thought I would share my mistake of the week. In case anyone else had dueling rock chucker's set up and using the lock rings on their dies. I apparently forgot that when I set the seating die up for OAL and locked the ring down that it was in the press on the right. Yesterday when I treaded it into the press on the left and seated the first bullet I got a new wiz bang cartridge that headspaces off the front disk! Reminds me of Aircraft photo's breaking the speed of sound. The newer (not as good) RC II is about 1.5 turns off on die adjustment from the older style. One more thing to mark down and document.
I hope this isn't in the water. I did the same thing a few years back doing .223rem. Oops!Thought I would share my mistake of the week. These days I find myself reviewing my load notes and specific gear instructions before I dive into a reloading session. Admittedly I don't reload as much as I used to. But a quick review/study of exactly just what the heck I'm supposed to be doing just might save my old dumb ***.Yeah whenever I get the time to load I try and collect my thoughts and get a handle on where I'm at on what cartridge/rifle (or pistol) combo and what cycle it's brass is in before I even start. I have a lot to keep track of and the times I've just went out to the garage and started banging away I always seem to make mistakes and or ruin stuff. As expensive as it is it can make you sick and smart really quick.

Finally a thread where I can share some of my knowledge!Maybe we should start a thread dedicated on capturing all these goodies?
Like, none of us have ever done something like that. I had a whole collection of weird stuff that came off of my press. Sort of reminds me of an anti tank "HEAT" round. (Armor piercing anti-tank) .Thought I would share my mistake of the week. In case anyone else had dueling rock chucker's set up and using the lock rings on their dies.
