Long and short, partially finances. I have a work .308, a personal .308, and this 6.5 that MPA made.So may I ask why sell your 6.5 PRC and not just build or buy a 300 PRC.?
If uts finances I got ya.
What are you intents in shooting with 300PRC? The 2 Mile Challenge in Ruidoso NM ?
I shoot a lot of different calibers from 204 Ruger up to 450 Bushmaster and Long Range 6.5 PRC and 300 PRC..I started out with Bergara Premier Pro 6.5PRC and the 300 PRC.Then to n a CUSTOM.If you get a rely qualified rifle builder to blue print your Bergara or whatever you choose and maybe a better barrel you will be saving some cash.If cash it's a problem then go full custom.
I'd rather have a 300 PRC. I'm a huge fan of MPA, so I'd prefer they build one like they did this 6.5. That costs, plus I have no additional safe space.
Answer, sell the 6.5 with extras for the cost of the .300, get the fan base MPA…and free up safe space simultaneously.
Added bonus, standardized .30 cals in my household.
