Montana governor shows his true disdain of the Second Amendment

Yeah. Reserve is the same way.

The one factor that came about as the result of the impeachment debacle was every Constitutional scholar I listened to in one way or another affirmed that the Constitution was written to protect the Citizen from the Government. However, more and more social progressives, a fancy name for communist, openly disagree. People better start paying attention...we are in serious trouble if these people continue to be elected.

The Governor has his opinion and I have mine.

I don't think the Governor of Montana needs a hunting rifle that has a magazine. I also don't think he needs a rifle that can shoot further than 100 yards. Furthermore, unless he has been in the military or was an LEO I don't think he should be allowed to shoot a firearm until he has been vetted an shown he can safely handle a firearm.

Lastly, he does not need any type firearm or ammunition that is made from any chemical shown to cause reproductive issues, or cancer in the State of California.

We as hunters and shooters are our own worst enemy.

I used to be the legislative representative for the California Bowmen Hunters and I was extremely active during the times of the mountain lion legislation that stopped all hunting of mountain lions in the state of California.

I made sure that I was in contact with every club and group that had anything to do with the outdoors and would take my own time to ensure people knew what the legislation was about.

It makes me ill to remember how many outdoors-men told me to my face that a law like that would never pass in the state.

It did, mainly because very few sportsmen voted.

I could go on and on about how we screw ourselves year after year but I won't, there's no way a law like that will pass.

I completely agree with you, We don't get involved with our community, a lot of us don't vote or feel concerned about the laws that guard our freedom and this is why it's been threatened by people who put their self interest first, people who don't know the price of freedom. I couldn't agree more.

Wealthy east coasters and californicators are buying up the affordable West and bringing their politics with them. They don't want to fit into the existing cultures, they want to make it their's... in the meantime forcing out the native populations and local culture. I am glad that I won't be around to see the end of the West as I have known it.

Me too! Came West in 1974. Never lived in a city and town is 55 miles away. The changes I have seen are profound and sad. There are still places to be wild in for sure but the politics has become just liberal foolishness.

Montana, like SD, wouldn't have shut down at all if Bullock weren't running against Daines. Unfortunately, as mentioned, Missoula, Bozeman, Billings, and Helena are largely now blue. We rednecks are being outnumbered as the state is being Californicated.

Billings now too?

Billings now too?
You know, maybe I'm being too pessimistic. Clinton carried almost no counties here in 2016, and although they will spend more this time around, doubt they will prevail. Joe's ban on assault weapons is not going to look nearly as rosy after last week. Much more worried about the Daines race.

He needs to be turned into Griz poop or wolf poop! Like NY's governor!!!!

"It makes me ill to remember how many outdoors-men told me to my face that a law like that would never pass in the state." You bring up a good point, many firearms owners now say the same thing about federal AWBs or even outright confiscation. What happened in Canada should be something all of us firearms owners should pay attention too. And also, if you read between the lines on what they said, every single candidate in the Democratic primaries was advocating confiscation.

Another thing that folks that make that type of statement never consider is crisis. Our enemy looks at and capitalizes on every crisis, be it real or fabricated, as an opportunity to advance their agenda.

This is why our side can't afford to relent on this issue, especially in Montana. We have to get as many of us as possible out to vote for the senate candidate that will fight for our Second Amendment rights.

Arizona is on the same path as New Mexico. Did you see the Senator that got elected in 2018? Never thought I would see the day when somebody who previously dressed in a pink tutu and went out protesting in the front of military bases in AZ would be elected to the Senate.
The final vote count in Maricopa county was very suspicious. A Republican won the Phoenix mayor's race and the senate race votes are usually similar. But this time the senate race votes were skewed heavily and not proportional. Compared to previous election cycles, based upon the votes in the entire district other than Phoenix, she should have lost. The only way she could win was for the ballots to be stuffed or for them to be improperly counted. A lot of questions were raised about the delays in the final count and the abnormal amount of mail in ballots and the percentage of mail in did not follow the normal R/D split.

On the bright side, she has been quiet during the left's socialist grandstanding and she has actually voted middle of the road or even conservatively on some issues.

Not sure what to make of her. She doesn't flaunt the LGBT agenda and she hasn't worn her tutu publicly. She has been quiet on the 2nd Amendment stuff thus far.
Maybe she is a closet pro gunner?

Give her time her true colors will prevail! Your either pro 2nd amendment or against it, that simple!
