I have a Game Hunter edge but am curious if there are any advantages to the Altitude? I've never owned the Altitude but see a ton of guys building with them and nothing negative said that I'm aware of.
Is one better than the other?
If you've had both, what's your experience been?

I don't have the Game Hunter, but do have the Altitude. The Monte Carlo design on the GH is attractive to look at, but to each their own. 3 ounces more weight is not a big deal on a stock. Both are light weight. Neither are great for shooting prone. I have no complaints with the Altitude for my style of hunting. It fits me well which is the most important part when choosing a stock IMO.

Why do you think they're not great for shooting prone?

Grouse is 100% correct. I've owned both and still have the Game Hunter. It's all in the grip, I didn't mind the vertical grip but didn't like how fat the grip was.

Good luck!
