I'd believe it . My wife shot completely through a whitetail length ways a few years back with a matthews mustang at 40 lbs. front to back to problem , good sharp broadheads due a number on critters

Yeah her first shot was a little farther back than we liked but the 2nd was followed up with a double lung and the broadhead poking through the other side. Shot placement is important with lower poundages but I know she's capable of making some tough shots. Never for a second did I think she was "undergun'd"

I got rid of the compound this off season and am hunting with a recurve now and it's actually only a 50# limb weight but the arrow set up I have is very devastating.

Darn my wife has a Norrh Dakota moose tag if I would have known really didn't need more
Poundage maybe we would have tried with archery. Oh well she is dialed good with a 7wsm. Good job on the hunt.

Killed my moose with a 49# longbow and wood arrow,so she had plenty of poundage in my thoughts,congratulations and enjoy the bounty of meat,will be the best you ever eat
