When you have tried to mount scope as low as possible, as long as the bell of the scope is not touching the barrel should be fine, right ?! .......... I am remounting scope on another rifle, and theres about 35 thou daylight once rings are tightened.
Obviously as long as they don't "touch", I should be ok I assume. The rifle is a 300 WM.
