Maybe I missed it but how difficult is load development?

They have been very forgiving to work with in the 6 different rifles I've tried thus far from 6.5mm to .338 cal. Have not needed to do any seating depth testing at all. Only test for charge weight and occasionally I've tried multiple powders. Sometimes found it did better with one powder over another for best accuracy.

Maybe I missed it but how difficult is load development?

For those wondering about load development and whether it's easy or difficult to find good loads. It's load tolerance. Check out the thread by @KH_Outdoors.

It's a long thread so here are some shortcut links to tge posts dealing with the copper rose development. BTW it was that load and bullet that was used on his sucessful AK brown bear hunt that is at the last few pages of that thread .

Intial testing

Refinement of load (powder change)

He ended up with a 0.5 moa load and he did only minimal development. His powder charges were in full 1 grain steps. When he found a good one he never even bothered trying smaller powder increments to fine tune. Same with bullet jump. Just took the first one and never tried refining it. So to me this was very similar to how your average handloading hunter would go about it. Stopping at good enough. With his components and quality of rifle build I would think the load could be further tuned to shoot in the 2s.

His load he went with off bipod 10x scope @ 8.5lb rifle 100 yd 3 shot.

It should be noted if you read the whole thread (which I think is a good reads it shows the full process from gun build load dev to final hunt and post hunt) that he tested out numerous bullets Accubond SMK Hammers etc but ended up going with the Copper Rose 225g 338 cal.

Anyways everything I have seen and so far with my 250s it's been easy. Actually easier than my badlands which were more sensitive to jump. Two of the easiest mono bullets IME to tune are hammers and these CR so far. I still have to try some other calibers. 6.5 125s are next. But that 168 7mm looks sweet. Makes me want to rush into a 7 Mega build to try it.

Here is the pics of the old brown bear he took. Not sure if it's already in this thread.

Thanks for the mention! If anyone's ever curious about load development on the CR's feel free to shoot me a message. They've been easy in all my rifles so far. Haven't had to do anything special other than components swapping (occasionally try a different powder) and "coarse" adjustments.
