Following some good advice I got from members I picked up a March 3-24x52 fma-1. I really it so far. What is the general consensus on the 1.5-15x42 sfp scope? Do the reticle wind holds align at 10x or 15x I can't seem to figure it out. How is the eyebox and lowlight performance? I really like the look of the mtr-5 for a Deer rifle inside 600 yards max, but low light performance is paramount. With UM tilkka rings think it would fit? I have researched for hours and just can't find the answers. Or should I just get a 2.5-10 nxs and call it a day?

I haven't noticed that low light suffers at all. The majority of my other scopes are 3-24x42 March. I know a complaint is the eye box is picky on the 3-24 but I've never had an issue. The 1.5-15 isn't any different. The only drawback is you gotta have a full rail for the 1.5-15 because it's so short and compact but again, that doesn't bother me at all.

No personal experience but I've read the DOF is pretty shallow so a lot of adjusting on parallax.
I read the field evaluation on Rokslide I think it's a different model than I'm considering but similar design. I also read other reviews and watched YouTube review that claimed it was not an issue. Some reviewers claim the same thing about the March 3-24. I spent a couple hours the other day side by side with mk5 5-25, nx8 2.5-20 and March 3-24. The March is much easier to get behind than the little nx8 and holds it own against mk5. I think March is going to send me a 1.5-15x42 to trial but I essentially have to pay full price for it then pay to ship it back. If I decide to do it, I'll write up a review and it might help someone else. The NXS is a known commodity and just seems easier.

This guy does extremely thorough reviews and here is his review on the March. I know you are inquiring about the sfp version although this review is the ffp version.

Thank you that was exactly what I was looking for. After reading that I think my son is going to have a 2-12 Helos on his rig.

I really like mine as a hunting scope. The mtr5 reticle sealed the deal for me. I can shoot hogs in the moonlight with the .5moa illuminated dot which also works great up close also. Only the dot itself is illuminated and is sharp, no glow around the edges. I have the March 3-24x52 FFP fma-2 but it's not ideal for close fast shots on 3x

But that review posted from Glassaholic will be the best in depth review you will find.
