What are my options here? I'm pretty sure I need to go up.

Anybody have experience with any of this stuff?

Odd, this Amazon message shows, but I don't get a penny….hmm

You might check out Mountain Tactical. They sell a carbon fiber and a plain kydex model. I have two of the carbon ones on tikkas and like them. Edit- just seen that you did have a link for them..

What is your experience with these when hunting?

I use their universal cheek rest. Like it. You have to position it far enough back that it doesn't interfere with bolt removal. Very simple to install.

Cost effective, easy install,@dallen0427 beat me to it.

I've used several different cheek rests on Tikka stocks. I prefer the OEM version, but not in orange. Depending on the height you set it up at, you may need to do a little dremel work to get clearance for bolt removal.

I also have the Titan version and think it's great too.

The "no-drill" kydex cheek rest works fairly well too, though I've needed to add foam underneath it to make it stiffer.

Found this unit last year, installed it on my T1x.
Came with internal adapter bases, drill guides , everything you would need to install.
I bought mine through Amazon for $15.99 but I see that they do not carry them now.
Would suggest contacting them direct Stock-Tek.com

I used this with Velcro for my kiddos rifle setup because I didn't want to drill holes. It's been solid.
