6.5 SAUM for the win or 7 Saum
His version is way better, but this is what I have for nowI'd jump on an ar10 in 6.5prc
and I have a 7saum also.6.5 SAUM for the win or 7 Saum
drawback is mag limit @ 2.870" unlike @Masczek 's that can use asic's mags @ 2.955".and I have a 7saum also.
R) 6.5prc
L) 7saum
That's why I like the AICS mags so much, I've never had an issue with feeding. Being dual stack, single feed and riding higher in the magwell, the cartridge naturally sits more in-line with the bore. Funny enough, my first test barrel had dual feed ramps and it was still feeding without a hitch. I examined the ramps a bit closer and that's when I noticed that the cartridge was sitting higher in the rifle and was much more inline with the center line of the bore than my other AR I had at the time. The KAK one I had was a lot of fun and ran pretty well but would ocassionally choke. I think 300 saum or 300rcm would work better due to the shoulder angles involved

The 7saum is definitely on my next build list, I finally have the brass for testing as well.
Also, I'm building two rifles for customers that are carbon fiber, (barrel, handguard, buttstock and grip). I can't wait to get those done to see the final results. I'll be sure to post some pictures once I have them.

Holy Sh....izzle! Thats awesome. How did you get AICS mags to work?Correct
I designed and machined my own lower receiver to work with a large frame AR upper. I'm currently looking into getting a larger machine to manufacture my own uppers, so hopefully by summer I'll have more capability to make more in-house.Holy Sh....izzle! Thats awesome. Any idea on what price point area you'll be in?I designed and machined my own lower receiver to work with a large frame AR upper. I'm currently looking into getting a larger machine to manufacture my own uppers, so hopefully by summer I'll have more capability to make more in-house.
lol, I almost feel like I'm in trouble now.I'll post it
KT10 Longbow
The first semi auto AR rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. Also avilible in 300 WSMkaliberarms.com
Like my dad once told me, "you get what you pay for". I bet they also have awesome customer service. They're pricy, but not as bad as I was expecting. Less than other mfgs and probably more accurate….and incorporating the AI mags is so much nicer!!! I'm a big fan of my bolt gun mags feeding the semiauto platforms
