Looking for scope suggestions for LR .22 shooting

Morning. Have a Vudoo I built up, was running a NF NXS .5.5-22x56, MOA reticle, and MOA adjustments. Reason being the reticle wasn't fine enough to my liking. And the parallax adjustment wasn't sharp at 25yds and under. Looking for a finer reticle, parallax adjustment clear at 25yds and under, clear glass, zero stop, illuminated, and robust. Have heard good things about Athlon Cronus line a Gen 2 BTR. Any other suggestions in $2000 range? The Cronus is $1600 new, so up a bit more if worth it isn't a worry. Thanks

Element Optics Nexus. The guys behind that company also shoot air guns so the parallax is adjustable down to 10 yards. Make in the LOW factory in Japan which is probably the same one the Cronus is coming out of.
