Looking for a Bison hunt, any recommendations?

Mesquite Mountain Outfitters (Dylan) out of Tucson. I shot a good bull in Sonora, Mx a couple of yrs ago. Should add, FREE RANGE. Horseback in some rough mountains. Don't know what the price is now.
I've aquired pts in South Dakota but haven't drawn a tag yet. Can't draw in Wyoming either.
Crow Indian Res has bison hunts. See Little Big Horn while there.

Its been so long I forget the name of the place in Texas but I shot 2 bison with my bow on two separate hunts. One bull and one cow. Lots of delicious meat. I even had one charge me after I shot my bull. Good thing the guide was carrying a rifle. (a lever action Marlin 35 Rem) He shot in front of the charging bison and stopped him. I'm pretty sure the next one would have went into his skull! Not much you can do when a 1200 lb animal is coming at you and all you have is a sharp stick! Let's just say my butt was puckered up pretty tight...LOL

I hunted with Crow to get a free range bison would recommend it if free range is important to you. other wise some of the big ranch hunts are probably the same bison are not super difficult.

I don't think 7500 gets it done on crow though

1000 pound Bison on the hoof sells up here for $3000 CDN ($1,800 U.S.) as a meat animal. You can book a hunt at a number of places in Saskatchewan for $7000 to $8000 U.S. The bigger the trophy size, the more expensive that trophy fee.
Just one option, there are many more

If you want to hunt a true Wild bison, never been farmed, born to free ranging animals, and still free ranging on thousands of acres you can do that too.

One thing to check for sure is you are hunting a herd that has zero TB in it. Some of the wild herds are infected and means you won't want the meat.
