Local smith vs barrel manufacturer

I was asked aboutProof bbls and how they shoot. This was my load development, 5 shot groups @100 from my 28 nosler
I also have a 6.5 Saum with a proof bbl and it shoots the same.

I'm not dead set on a bartlein. It's just what my smith recommended. I will more then likely be using one as these fine gentlemen have pointed me to a few online dealers instead of ordering direct.
