In my experiance, the finished product comes down to the smith. What he lets out his door is his business.Just wondering do you think most custom actions get verified ..QC before they ship?

Mostly quality inconsistencies. Some are great and some are not.I don't know why? They are excellent barrels.
A little late on the response I bought 4 military barrels from shotgun news that were new still wrapped in cosmoline never barreled up . My dad and I built 4 custom 7x57 mm mausers using those barrels they all shoot lights out.How do you have barrels that have never been in an action that shoot ragged holes? I'm a little confused
