Here is little article from Sierra regarding the velocity increase in new barrels. The only exception for me being the amount of rounds fired. Although, I have a Krieger that did this at about 120 rounds, most of my barrels stabilized at around 75. Let's just say that this happens to enough guys somewhere between 0-200 rounds that it's definitely something to watch for.
