Help me choose a barrel

Any particular reason you couldn't just purchase a proof barrel from another online retailer that has it in stock?

A Benchmark from Piercision like @JAYgs8163 mentioned would be solid as well.

CRB or even a Preferred Barrel would be great. If I was wanting to order a custom spec'd carbon wrapped barrel today I would order a Preferred.

Don't they recommend a little longer barrel on a 25-06? 24 inches might perform better.

Lots of good choices on barrels out there, the proof would be the lightest CFW barrel. CRB hunter profile will be heavy.

If I were in your shoes I would get a 3b Bart if available or 5 contour Brux or Benchmark (cut rifling) with long flutes, cut it at 24", most importantly throat it for the heavies (not saami).

I also started out looking for pre-fit for my 7prc build. Called Eric at Blue Mountain Precision, he had Proof barrels in-stock. He had the chambered barrel and action to me in less than three weeks. Check them out they have great reviews.
