I have 123 Absolute Hammers with N565 at 3310 in a Ruger Hawkeye LRH

I have some 123 scenars. I am using it on a mule deer hunt before I built it into a 25 SST. I just want that little extra punch with the 140 class bullets

My best load is 140gr ELD-M with 59gr H1000 (I'm at 1900 ft). I can shoot 4 shots touching at 200 yards at 3028 fps with an ES of 4.5 fps and SD of 1.9 fps. I've shot it out to 980 yards at the range multiple times without a problem. Going to try the 143gr ELD-X next for more of a hunting bullet. I've also shot a 123gr ELD-M with 56.8gr H1000, super light load at only 2970 fps but it also shoots 4 shots touching at 200.

I like eldms a lot for hunting. I have a 6mm gt with a 26 inch Krieger barrel. I shoot 108 elms and it has dropped two white tails and the other two didn't make it 40. It causes massive damage in that 6mm

Just loaded up some 147 ELDM over 57 grains of N565. Getting around 2840 FPS and shooting around .5 MOA out of 20 " barrel. Took it out to 520 the other day and dead on. Will see how it works on antelope, deer, and elk this year.

I use Staball HD with 140's, 8 twist. I get over 2850 and real good groups. I also use Staball HD in my 6.5-08, 8 twist. Staball HD - 58.5 gr. in 6.5 PRC and 57.5 gr. in olde cheap brass 6.5-06, less than 100 fps difference. CCI 34 primers because I have lots of them.

Just loaded up some 147 ELDM over 57 grains of N565. Getting around 2840 FPS and shooting around .5 MOA out of 20 " barrel. Took it out to 520 the other day and dead on. Will see how it works on antelope, deer, and elk this year.

What brand brass are you using. If I get much over 55.5 grs. RL26 with ADG brass I get pressure signs. I run 55.0 grs. At 2880 fps. Have lots of N565 and N570. Just loaded some 300 wm with some N565 loads. Just opened an 8 pounder of RL26. Last I have. It has my best loads in 300 wm, 6.5 PRC and 257 bee. Looking for an alternative.

I'm just going to use norma brass. I'm going to rebarrel it before next hunting season. I just picked up three boxes of Norma factory ammo for break in and I will just load that brass.

With 156's, ADG brass and H1000, I am getting 3005 fps with a 27" barrel. I started at 2950fps but barrel sped up. Still shoots the same so I didn't bother messing with the charge weight. I am also using a long action and loading the bullet long. No pressure signs.

I use Norma brass in 257 Weatherby only. All others ADG. Lapua in 6.5x284. Had way better accuracy with ADG in 300 wm than Norma. ADG in 6.5 PRC than Hornady . Less volume with ADG than others.

I shoot 156 Bergers in 6.5 PRC as well. Have my CDS dial set for a RL26 load. 24 in. Barrel. Around 2880 fps.

I know what you mean... even when your rifle gets hot while testing loads. I don't worry because not hot here durning hunting season and not shooting Prarie dogs. Lol. I have a lot of N565 and I know it's temp stable. Thinking of trying to find a decent load with it to replace loads with RL26. Starting with 300 wm Wednesday. Got some ideas here for 6.5 PRC so far.

I run 6.5 staball in my 6mm gt it is pretty solid once I found the perfect spot. I want to get ahold of more RL 15,17,23,26,27. Everything I have put RL in it loved no matter the charge

Good luck on RL26 and RL23. I'm over it. 6mm or 6.5 ?
