them are some fine pictures. I cant keep up with them but i will try. I am a huge Berger fan but all we can hunt in Indiana in predators with rifles so here are a few from this year. Sorry for poor quality, they are cell phone pictures

This first one was at 347 yards all i had was a head shot thru a old hog lot. I was shooting a Tikka T3 lite in 243 win. and 87gr VLD running right at 3400fps

this next dog was at 652 yards with a head on shot. The 87VLD entered between the shoulders and did not exit turning the stomach to pudding!!!

712 yards quartering towards me, same set up. Bullet entered the should leaving a huge entrance hole and then leaving multiple exits

This next dog was shot with my DTECH 243wssm AR15. I was shooting Berger 68gr flatbase running just shy of 3600FPS (dont remember exact numbers) She was around 440 yards mousing around completly broadside. she ran about 40 yards. She was dead before she heard the crack of the rifle

Last picture here. This dog slipped in behind us again using my Dtech and 68gr Berger. Im wanting to say he was 70ish yard. Bullet lifted the dog off the ground and landed flat on its back stiff.

And many more... I did not think we had used it that much....:D there's some pics I'm not finding.

So clearly, this thread affirms that the Bergers dont work as advertised :)

I guess I don't follow you Kenny. You felt they worked very well for you? I feel they do work as advertised as mine most always have a small entrance then they fragment off part of the bullet into the vitals and then the rest exits. At close range they do exit larger than they do at extended distances but that is probably true of most bullets that expand at all. I have several pics of entrance and even more of exits and they are pretty consistant for me.

I could be wrong, but I think he was making fun of all the people who say that Bergers don't' work as advertised. Then again, I could have taken him the wrong way hahahah

Jeff, that was my attempt at humor. :) I was being facetious based on some threads I have read suggesting Bergers dont do their job. This thread shows that they do, Indeed "do" it. We took 3 Elk on the trip my pics are from. Mine with the 7mm VLD, the 2 others with the .30 Cal VLD.

I cant wait to "test" one on a Bull of the Caliber ( no pun intended) you posted

LOL got it!! I guess I was a little slow on your drift. Glad to see they work for many hunters here too. We use them on nice sized bulls every year. Haven't tracked one yet.

Thanks for the explanation.

Jeff
