225 yards across a canyon, slightly downhill.
140gr Berger VLD H, 6.5/06. In and out through ribs. Entrance hole 6.5mm, exit hole silver dollar sized. Everything in the boiler room turned to mush and came out the nose or the exit wound. Buck DRT

.300 win mag 210 hvld. 781 yards. Sw Montana. She dropped where she stood.

Where did bullet strike.. the coyote I shot with a 215 hybrid at 400 yards rain about 50 yards with no lungs.. he was standing when I shot him
 
She was broadside when I shot and by the time the bullet got there she was quartering towards. Hit her right at the tip of the shoulder. Strangest thing was the bullet never exited. Oh well, it obviously worked!!

That sounds like a good thing since you must have gotten good expansion at that range.....Rich
 
Went on a NM ibex population reduction hunt this week end and harvested this ibex at 825 yards with a Berger 140 Hybrid. Entrance hole 6.5 and the exit was the size of a golf ball.
