Let’s discuss brakes for 300 Norma Improved

How do you like the brake performance on the EC tuner+brake? Considering switching to one on one of my rifles.
I've mainly used them on 6.5 CMs, but have one on a 30 SM a 6.5-284 right now also. They work - as a brake and a tuner. Not that a 6.5CM needs much of a brake, but shot spotting was easier with it than a suppressor past 500 yards. The tuner is simple to dial in, and it actually changes group shapes. I'll be getting a BR model for my next 1.250 straight barrel. It's a quality part, it's about as effective as other brakes I've used (but I have all those up there for a direct side by side at some point), and it cleans up easily/well.

Thanks. I had not heard from anyone running the brake tuner combo. I like the idea of the combo single unit vs separate.

If I have any trouble getting this rifle to group I'll try one out.

On my 260 I use Ti Pro3 ST. I never intended to load for it as I have a few boxes of BH/GAP ammo with 139 Lapua.

The grouping was not to my liking so I turned the brake full turn forward, and shot groups. In the 3rd full turn all fell in place, cut the original group in half. With side ports, tuning is limited only full turn or half.

Yes, the ST could work as a tuner.

I have Ryan's muscle brake on a 300PRC. Right now it shoots 230s about 2850fps It's manageable to shoot and I appreciate the zero backblast to me.

I've wondered if I should try a TI Prp 3 on it.
A few shouder surgeries and and broken collar bone have me worried as I get older.
