7mm-300 Norma Improved?

I been looking into a 300 NM and a 7-300 NM. I'm not a bench shooter though. I'll probably go with a Standard 24" length Medium Heavy barrel. Have a Pantera suppressor on it. That will keep that flash and muzzle jump down. I'll design it for the Alco bullets. They have the 195 grains. I'm sure I'll use the 195 grain Berger's as well. If I do the 300 Norma it will be designed for the 230-s to the 240 Grain bullets.

300nmi with 215s to 245s with the speeds lost as you gain mass of bullet, they all run very similar in the wind. 215s at 3100, 230s ar 3000, 245s at 2900 all very close in wind drift. Of course the lighter faster bullets will drop less out to 1k yards. 195 bergers ran over 3k fps is a really magical thing ballistically. There's a wall around 88gr on the 7mm, cross that in case capacity and they burn barrel pretty fast. If all out laser beam trajectory is your goal, a 7-300 Norma would do the trick. It'll be between 28N and 7 rum barrel life, around 7-800 rounds.

Thinking about a fast 7mm cartridge for a long range deer/elk gun. I've looked at this cartridge vs. the 28 Nosler and am seriously leaning the 7mm-300 route due to the availability of quality brass. Any ideas on where to find dies and/or a chamber reamer? Haven't had much luck finding any info with a simple Internet search.

WTO ( west Texas ordinance ) sold me a reamer, and dies. Keester customs put the rifle together. It is amazing, when I shoot the barrel out I will do it again. N570 leaves a vapor trail!

I have the same chamber being done, is n570 what you are running? I plan to shoot that with 195 on a 24" bartlien carbon, will be a hunting rifle, hoping 3150 fps or so
