Do you drive a car or truck that uses gas or diesel? Because then you are contributing to lead pollution. I say that is far larger contributor of lead poisoning than lead bullets.

Yep, sure do. And I wouldn't run it in my garage with the doors closed. Is this an argument for electric cars?

Back to the video the 199 gr HH out of the RUM was supposed to going something like 3460 fps. I'd like to know that load.

I'd love to know this too. He's been busy this morning and likely didn't see it... That's a lot of crack for a 199 out of the Rum for sure.

No thank you. I won't buy one as I don't see EV's as a viable alternative at this time.

Anyways back to the video that Steve tagged me to. He never answered my questions about which manufacturer was the leading competitor's bullet. Or the paper clip used. I'd also like to know both loads and velocities. He stated in the video that the 199 gr HH was going at 3460 fps. I find that amazing since Weatherby's 30-338 wby mag velocity with the 195 Hammer is published at 3225 fps. The I would expect 30-338 WBY Mag to have more capacity and thus higher velocities. As I found on Hodgdon's load data comparing the 300 RUM to the 30-338 Wby mag. No need to reply Northkill. I'll respectfuly ask that you leave that between me and Steve.

I for one sure hope we don't all agree on everything. But can we dialogue without the animosity an agenda to "kill" something or someone? I'm all for debating ideas and sharpening our opinions and perspectives. But can we do it in a less personal way?

Yes it does go both ways. I have engaged privately on this premise at times, but I think there's a place to call something out in public that was expressed in public. However, in this case the rules post was a caution and not a statement, and more for everyone (including those who "" and "" the post) than it was for you. There are others who have an agenda that you may not. The post was feeding it though you likely didn't intend it that way. I don't think you were out of line so much yourself. Hopefully that makes sense.
