IS 700 FOOTPRINT THE SAME SKLTN S ANTI X

The stock should be pretty easy to adapt but may require some minor fitting. The SKLTN bolt release sits up higher as it should clear easily but if I'm not mistaken the defiance ejection port cutout may be a little larger but that's only cosmetic. Maybe some minor fitting at the bolt handle cut out also. Most stocks require some "final fitting" to fit just right.

The action tenon threads I think are the same but head spacing may be different due to recoil lug thickness. Unless, you bought a Remage type prefit you may have some issues. I'd call Pure Precision in the morning and ask. I have a SKLTN action and love it.

Good luck
Thank you for your input. The ag stock I got fit the action perfect. One would thinka 700 prefit would be interchangeable.

I don't but I will try tomorrow to upload one. I done a google search and it is an issue for some people.
That's why I want to see a picture of your scope setup. At the ~4:40 minute mark, Ryan cycles the bolt without any issues regarding clearance with his scope setup. My setup is similar to his.

I ordered two from them when they first came out in October and I think they were done in under 4 weeks and then it took another week or two for nitride. They will want your action serial number if you don't want to ship them your action.

They're interchangeable for sure but 700 foot print doesn't necessarily mean 700 drop in. Action screw spacing and bottom metal cutouts are but little things like the location of the bolt release, trigger hangers, ejection port cutout all can require minor modifications to make it fit properly. Unless you're the type that's dangerous with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers it's all easily done. 😉

Edit: usually when you order a stock they will ask what action you have when ordering a 700 footprint stock.

Stock - no problem.

Pre-fit: possible problem. Threads may not be the same. As mentioned, call Pure precision to find out.
Here's what I got from Pure Precision.

Did he explain why not? For instance, if your pre-fit barrel is a shouldered barrel specifically machined to meet the headspace for Anti-X specifications, it might not work for the SKLTN Ti because of difference in specifications, as noted by @waspocrew and the email from Pure Precision. As others noted, not all Remington foot print have the same specifications. A pre-fit barrel with a barrel nut is another story.
