Bushing die issue

So .. suggesting how he can make proper choices.. would be helpful. Based on the OP statement..ie for his end result what would be the next best option? If you have experience with this.. sharing insights would be a big help!

Again, he is sizing too much in one step. That would mean he would have to take smaller steps. Usually no more than .005-.008 at the most.

Might want to check the thread. He was given specific instructions on page one

So here is what I need to do with New, Unprimed Unfired 7PRC Hornady Brass.
1. Run the brass through the Sizer Die with the larger expander "Ball" or" Tip" in place, with no pin . This step trues up all the funny looking case mouths. This step only needs to be done once.
2. Then , remove the large expander "Ball" or "Tip" and add the .312 Bushing to the die , and screw on the slim expander ball on to the stem. Reassemble.
3. Run the brass through the die for the second time and make the necks be sized by the .312 bushing I have selected. ( could use a .311 bushing if greater tension is desired ) . All Done!!! Cases now ready for Neck Prep and Priming .

You have received the best answer repeatedly, you are sizing too much at once.
I found this out quickly sizing 300 WM down to .284. Not only are the results erratic but the brass will possibly fail sooner regardless of annealing after the fact.
