No one can tell me that that is NOT price gouging. Just my opinion but nonetheless, MY OPINION!!!I'd say you are a victim!
Show the facts that lead you to that opinion. Examples- What are they paying for raw materials? How much does it cost to manufacture the powder, bullets, brass, and primer? What's the cost of shipping all these components? How much does it cost to load the ammunition? Building expenses, overhead, employee benefits, etc. If you have all this information to make an educated statement then please share so we can form our opinion. No one can tell me that that is NOT price gouging. Just my opinion but nonetheless, MY OPINION!!!
I'm a little ****ed you're not sending me a few bucks a month personally.Always amazes me that other people think they can judge how I decide to spend my money!!
I was at one point hotter than a chili pepper for buying a 6.5PRC rifle. Ammo availability has sucked horribly for over a year and more. Now that it is becoming available the retailers want to gouge the daylights out of you. So what to do? Since I am in love with the SAUER-100S Field Shoot (German Rifle) I am going to pass on the 6.5 for sake of practicality. I have plenty of .308 and 7.62 x 51 ammunition and it would be stupid for me to buy a rifle that is so expensive to feed. The .308 is consistently accurate and capable of taking down most game; ie. Elk, Mule Deer & White Tail or Moose. Since I confirmed SAUER builds their same rifle in .308 configuration and will take the practical road. IF the TEOTWAWKI (The End Of The World As We Know It ) scenario comes to pass there will always be plenty of available .308 when 6.5PRC and Creedmoor vanishes. Your situation is one that I want to avoid. If I had purchased the 6.5 prc I would be stuck right now. I feel somewhat liberated now and man I truly feel your pain. Gadzooks $760.00 for only 200 rounds?? I hope you will find better prices in the future. I just inquired on .308 pricing for a 200 round case at $379.50 for 308 Win 178 Grain ELD-X Hornady Precision Hunter Ammo. Or a 200 Round Case - 308 Win 168 Grain Matchking HPBT Winchester Match Ammo - $36.95 per box. You good sir have brought me back to reality.Good morning all, I've been waiting for 6.5 PRC ammo to show up again and Mile High just received the batch of Hornaday 6.5 PRC 147gr eldm, I ordered two cases, one for me and one for a buddy, the out the door delivered was $1,550. I feel violated but I still need the ammo. It average $76 a box With tax and shipping.
I concurJust be thankful that we live in a country that people gave their lives for so we can have the choice to do what we want ,when we want. Fill your $80,000.00 truck with $5.00 per gallon fuel, grab a $7.00 coffee , call your buddies on the $500.00 cell phone and tell them you'll meet them at the range that's 20 miles away Enjoy yourself every time you pull the trigger. I do...... Thanks to all of you who served our country, where would we be if you hadn't.
Thanks for all the comments, yes I reload, yes I would rather pay $35 a box but haven't found any 6.5prc 147eldm ammo anyware. I use Hornady factory match ammo to do the initial break-in on new barrels, for 2 wemy
