For starters, there's nothing wrong with your standard rifling with essentially square lands and grooves. They still enjoy a lot of success. And, Hart is a top notch barrel maker.
But, I see a lot of talk (hype?) these days about 5R, ratchet, polygonal, 3 groove, 4 groove, and progressive twist, etc... And, then you get into all of the break in procedures and barrel treatments...
One might think that you could do them all and have a barrel that cleans itself and improves your BC by 50%. Somehow, I don't think it quite works that way.
