If you could only have 3 rifles

6-250 for varmints and goats
260 Rem for bush hunting and the occasional long shot
280 Rem for long range deer and alpine hunting

For North american big game I think you really only need 2, A good 6-6.5mm for pronghorn and deer that spits lead around the 3000fps mark with heavy bullets and a good .338 that hits around the same velocity with the midweight bullets for elk, moose and bear. For Africa you can add a heavy rifle of at least .375 for dangerous game and keep the .338 for smaller plains game.

3 rifles

Well I started this, so I'll tell you what I'd keep and why.
25/06 for rats to mule deer
270 WSM for antelope and deer (and back up for elk)
300 Win Mag for deer and elk

If I could only have one, it would have to be the 300 Win Mag
Thanks for all the replies.
