During the Viet Nam war I was a C-141 pilot traveling all over the world. We had to be vaccinated for everything to be world-wide qualified. Probably nobody hates shots as much as I do, but my shot record looked like the Encyclopedia Britanica. I have never had a problem with vaccinations, other than the requisite soreness. I got my second Moderna vaccination yesterday at the VA. It was absolutely the easiest shot I have ever taken. Absolutely no sensation of being stuck. My wife said maybe I was in the placebo line. Today I have a little soreness at the injection site, so I think I actually got the shot. When I heard about JE Custom, and Elf's daughter I was hugely saddened. I decided to take the shot that Donald Trump worked so hard to make possible. I'm glad I did! I told my wife if I start getting weird symptoms to please post on this forum to let you all know.

I think we are all a little to blame for the state of our nation now. For years we , well, many of us knew politics was crooked , but as long as things stayed pretty smooth and the decay of our rights was gradual enough that it didn't affect us right then , we chose to look the other way . Now when those that have been more or less paying attention see the way things started ramping up when Obama took office, then the absolute chaos when Obamas 3rd term was interrupted by Trump, start to say something about what we see happening , we are crazed lunatics , snatching conspiracy theories out of thin air. Its reached critical mass now, but we held our tongues too long . We let entire generations of our kids learn an alternative reality in school through Obamas 1619 initiative and allowed congressional members and beurocrats to get so deeply entrenched in the dirty money that now we have let the foxes in the hen house and let them raise litters . To those that believe in the promise of our constitution , we better polish our spurs because its gonna take way more than it should to clear the hen house of fleas now ! I firmly believe the virus was designed to bring us to these vaccines . God , help us .

It's pretty dang obvious when someone dies of COVID. Not hard to make that distinction when it comes time for the death certificate. Can't think of a single case I've had where someone died, and also happened to have Covid but the Covid didn't kill them. And everyone gets a Covid test who is admitted to the hospital so it's not like we're missing cases. I'm all for questioning the numbers and I do question MANY decisions that our government has made. But the death rate is real.

Seriously—if this many of our own community on the forum has personally experienced it? One (that we know of) actually has passed away from it? And it's still all a hoax? Really guys?!

Sure can. I can smell through an N95, even with my screwed up nose too. Covid-19 virus on its own is 70-90nm meanwhile the human nose can detect sulfur molecules that are 0.18nm. Plus side is were trying to stop vapor in your breath that carries the particles. Even if we're not stopping all of them or just slowing them, it's an improvement.

I'm not sure how many times I need to say this, but even if we find out later masks are marginally effect or not effective at all, I won't feel too bad about having worn one. It costs almost nothing, takes a few seconds, and might help. It doesn't need to be 100% effective to be worth doing. And I won't feel dumb or bad later if we find out it wasn't. Hell, you can come say I told you so, I don't care, my heart's in the right place trying to protect others from me.

Please feel free to link your study (peer reviewed if possible). Correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation, hopefully it controls for other factors so we're only looking at one variable.

Since someone summoned my back to this thread by quoting me I'd like to pick everyone's brains on this one.

I see a lot of posts discussing ties to China and a lot of conjecture. Who stands to benefit more from the US having a weakened public health (caused by a lack of herd immunity from vaccination), China or Russia? Seems like if you wanted to weaponize a coronavirus you'd want to make sure you enemy didn't trust the vaccine enough to get it.

I buried my Mom yesterday.
There's a FACT I can prove for you.
She was 73 but perfectly healthy. Looked 60 , worked full time and did anything she wanted.
Not even on cholesterol or blood pressure meds. She died FROM COVID... nothing else. Oh, and she was taking vitamin D, C and Zinc regularly if you think that's a preventative.

Sure the media and politicians have used this for their own gains. But while you argue about car crash victims being counted as Covid deaths, the Spanish flu being worse, whether the death numbers are right or whatever other trivial BS that you using to convince yourself this isn't as bad as they are making it out to be, you are killing people.

You that's taking this lightly and going about your day while taking no precautions. Your risking your life a well as others. If you think you're Ok because you're fairly young and healthy guess again.
It all depends on how YOUR body reacts to it. If you have an inflammatory response to this virus you are likely done.. regardless of age or condition.

Mark my words, there will come a point when the vaccine will be required to get a drivers license, fly, travel within the US, attend public education, etc.. How do you feel about that? Are you ok with Gov't forcing you or me vaccinate? Are you ok with Congress having the power under the commerce clause to stop us traveling across state borders?
