Tell me how what's wrong with a 245 elite with an outstanding bc compared to a 250 gr in a 338 cal or a 300 gr Berger in 338 cal specifically 338 Lapua because I'm comparing reasonable speeds not wildcats or improved cartridges can't be a good rig to 2000 yards ? And if you go up to 245 grain hybrid, the BC is even better.
And with a long barrel, he'll have even better velocities so what's wrong with this? You just can't handle people taking the easy button and having some fun with his daughter and not wanting a small fortune into a gun ?

The round is inconsequential, the man behind the rifle is more important. Especially with new rifles that are sub moa out of the box. Just building my daughter the best rifle I can with some of the best parts. Looking for advice.
