I have a 300 WSM. I have TS 15.5. I want to load 150 badlands bd2's. Where to start?

I may do that for 308 Win, but the info above is related to 300 WSM using Norma brass.

However, I have tried the 150 BD2 in 308 win and was having a hard time getting sub moa groups, all but certainly due to the long jump. My 308 rifle internal mag box gives me no extra room so unless I want to single load I'm stuck to 2.810" COL, which is a huge jump for the 150's. I tried Varget and H4895 (H4895 gave slightly better results) powders, but I imagine that with TS15.5 there wouldn't be enough room in the case to compete with either Varget or H4895.
2.810 is quite a short COAL even for s 308Win. What action do you have?

Good luck in Loading process buddy. I have never even heard of that powder, so I have no opinion but I will follow your thread closely . I am also in the Loading process of using IMR 4350 in my 30-06 with the 20 inch barrel rifle. I am using 150 Grn. Horn Inter lock bullets . They have an exposed lead tip. The picture below is the 55.5 grns load, with Win LR Primers. Made adjustments left to right, and fired these final three rounds. Next week will be 55.7 Grns. and 56.0 grns of IMR 4350 with that same primer and same bullet. I think my shorter barrel may benefit from the 4350 burn rate. (I'm trying for 2700 /2750 fps ). I will soon also try 165 Grn. Horn Bullets with the red poly tips. The object is a 50 to 150 yard Whitetail deer load. I am open to any advice especially on changing to your powder.

Howdy, I have been playing with TS-15.5,
Been using Nosler manual and Rl-15 data. 308, 30.06, and 7.08. To me it is just like Rl-15, it is just Temp Sensitive-T.S. For 150gr bullets Nosler has start at 57.5 and Max 61.5 3220 fps. For the WSM 300. Hope this helps. 👍

It's a bergara b-14 ridge. It's been a few years since I determined the max COL but iirc it's not the action itself but the internal magazine that is what forces the short COL's.

You didn't say what speed you were at but I imagine you're in the ballpark of your 2700-2750 fps goal. With groups like that and your stated goals I probably wouldn't change a thing.
