I am back with my first elk. WOW!!

Good shootin', amazing how those bulls seem to find the tightest spot to go down and leave you anxious whether the shot was good or not, same thing happened to me last year.

That's a beauty to me - nice rack and will *look* good in the freezer, on the grill and at the table! Yea, 2 BIG thumbs up for shot follow-through - and keeping your confidence regardless of the nay-sayers - there's always a 'negative Nelly' to drag you down....

Thanks for posting the photos guysw and Thank you for the nice comments. I realize that outfitters deal with all kinds of marksmen and supposedly woodsmen not to mention horsemen. I was glad I hit the bull with a quick killing shot . I am sure outfitters hear all the time " I was right on him...". Thanks again guys
