But what I have used is a single wheeled backcountry litter for hauling patients out on Backcountry rescues. One of the key pieces to that equipment is the fact that there are handles on the front and the back, which enable two people to keep it upright. Only having handles on the back end seems to me like it would be really tough to not dump/tip it over....
