Hunting with E-bikes

Disclaimer - I've never used one. But what I have used is a single wheeled backcountry litter for hauling patients out on Backcountry rescues. One of the key pieces to that equipment is the fact that there are handles on the front and the back, which enable two people to keep it upright. Only having handles on the back end seems to me like it would be really tough to not dump/tip it over....
It is motorized, so does this fall under the same restriction?

Connected to the Bob Marshall wilderness. Has been that way for a very long time. I try to go in there every year.
Steve,

About 10 years ago, our scout troop (9 scouts, 2 are my boys, along with 6 adult leaders) did a 10-day 50-miler backpacking trip at the Bob that ended up just shy of 100 miles. We started at the lower Holland Lake and looped around Salmon Lake. The damages caused by horses are pretty bad, not to mention all the natural road fertilizers.

Good question. I would assume so because it has a motor. But, at the same time, it's at least not intended to be ridden by the operator, so I'm not sure. I cannot think of anywhere that I would use something like this. The 3 mph top end and guaranteed difficulty to maneuver when loaded makes this more of a gimick than a useful tool in my mind.

Can't use a game cart in the wilderness. Motor or not. Same goes for land that is proposed wilderness.

I grew up going into that country a couple times a year. With horses. I have no problem with what they do to the trail.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family that had the resources to make that happen. I always thought I would do it as an adult. I have never been able to afford what it takes to make that possible. It is a very exclusive club that can see the Bob Marshall wilderness. I'm ok with that because it is wilderness, but very few people ever see a bit of it let alone much if it. If the forest service has its way very few people will ever see much if it. Public land that is off limits to almost everyone. Make it wilderness by vote or let us all use the roads. Diff than off road motorized use.

Steve,

Game carts are still allowed at the Beartooth WMA. But the motorized vehicle is not.

Wild life management area. Not proposed or designated wilderness. Correct? Proposed wilderness falls under the same regulations as wilderness but without a legislative vote.

I bought the bakcou storm, i upgraded the motor to a 2300w watt wagon motor. Direct plug n play. Also put in the rohloff speed hub. Huge difference over stock. Buddy has the mule. Biggest difference i on average have 30% more battery life. And ton more power plus the gear advantage. It's really impressive what it will climb with 200lbs on trailer and me 210 on bike
