If you can get over the economic hurdle and can be patient for a few months, do it! You won't want to hunt or shoot any other way.
I was hesitant for a lot of years and even defiant because I think we shouldn't have to jump through hoops for one of our inalienable rights. Plus I didn't want to be in a "list" with ATF. I thought further and realized that I'm already on list, my defiance was only hurting myself, and I was willing to wait longer for a build from a reputable smith. So I broke down and got one a few years back and am so glad I did. I even held out and didn't use it for a few years for hunting because of added weight and length. A new rifle designed to be shorter and still just as fast, solved that problem, and after using it to hunt one time, my hunting partners who were also holding out for various reasons went and got their own suppressors. Now we won't hunt without them.
