I'm not sure coroners are essential personnel. Some of the rulings here looks like they could use a day off.

Just to add an interesting perspective, the ranchers that I started hunting pronghorn with in rural eastern CO, shared their thoughts back in about 1989, on this same situation, where city folks might make their way out to the ranch in hard times. Although they would fully defend themselves, they admitted that they would allow somebody to take a cow or other without a problem. They were Christians to the bone, though, true followers of Christ and rarely decided anything based on what others were doing.
I like the levity of the post though... any laughs are needed these days.

The people that come out to rural America in middle of night is not looking for food. I would share if I thought they really needed it like anyone else would do when times are tough. Come to my home at 3PM not at 3AM if you need help. People are scrambling and we do need to think about helping whenever we can without risks to ourselves or family.
I will give them food BUT NOT TP! Would give a roll of paper towels and some skin lotion.....
Coming to my home at 3AM is looking for whatever they can sell for their fix since they can't find it in city due to lock down. So I believe in 12 ga for home defense. The 3/4" hole at the end usually will scare the bejesus out of scum like this and be on their way. If not, oh well.
Had a neighbor that had sign:
"If you are found here at night, you will be found here in morning."
Never had anymore issues at his place.

Make em dig their own holes - Mafia style. One digs, the next covers, repeat as necessary.

I don't want to shoot someone but I don't want to get up in the morning to go to work. But I still do.
My neighbor made a big ply board sign "Carvo-virus patient inside... stay away for your own safety" I actually p**sed myself as I rolled up to my house and called him to asked if it was true. He started laughing and said no but now I know it works!! Our homeowners association made him take it down a couple days ago.

PA gunstores open again. He was afraid of getting sued.
Sorry Rum Man, but you should know that in Montana it is illegal to hunt bears over a gut pile. Sheesh!I agree Bear Season is fast approaching here !!
